I am so really really excited to finally share the news that my lunchtimestroll project will be showing in Berlin as part of the British Shorts Film festival programme in just over 10 days time. This is the first time I am exhibiting this project digitally outside of the social media sphere since its inception in 2018. Some of you who may have been following me over the years may remember my lunchtimestroll project on Instagram. It became very popular on the Stellar app.
Lunchtimestroll was a digital photographic project documenting my lunchtime walks in central London from 2018 to 2020, during the height of the pandemic.
It was a project originally inspired to motivate me to take more walks and to keep continuing to practice editing & publishing photographs in short succession. Without hesitation, without doubt. To observe, to walk, to document, to edit, to publish. It brought back my confidence and kept me on my toes (quite literally). So I am so overjoyed that this project gets to be seen again at one of my favourite film festivals in Berlin at Sputnik Kino.
Carefully selected images will be shown digitally at Sputnik Kino between Fri 24 January – Wed 29 January 2025 as part of the festival.
For those of you based in the UK, one of my images is still on display at the seaside in Worthing at the Return to the Sea exhibit. Please get in touch if you happen to visit and have any photographs.
Oh wow, this looks fantastic!
