#4 The chosen one

I think I have kept you all in suspense but after my recent trip to the UK, I found out the chosen image for the ‘Return to Sea’ exhibition in Worthing. And the winner is…

I took this image almost a year ago on my second trip to Malta. I think it is the first time I had really enjoyed discovering and photographing a new place in a very long time. I really do believe that if you enjoy something and feel confident within yourself, it will show in your creative work in one way or another. The photographs are still my favourite rolls of film to look back on this year. Malta is a special place for me and I know it will not be the last time that I will be exploring the island. To have one of my images selected was definitely one of my highlights this year and gave me a confidence boost, I think I needed.

There is plenty of time to check out the exhibition on the beachfront in Worthing. It is located very near by the pier and not difficult to miss. I really loved seeing all the other images on display and the many different interpretations of the theme. If you do end up seeing the work in person, please do get in touch and share your images!
